A 'Little' Bit About Us!

Welcome to our website!
Little Pixie Productions is a touring theatre company founded at the start 0f 2009 by Rebecca Little and Victoria Sklar, based between Derbyshire and Buckinghamshire.
We are dedicated in taking original writing and productions out into the community and rural areas. We can perform in most spaces, for example from Community Halls, Libraries, Arts Venues and Schools to legitimate Theatres.
We are proud to be able to present many different types of theatrical experiences for all ages including Plays, Musical Theatre, Music Hall, Classical and Opera as well as Educational Workshops based on our shows.
We present our Opera and Classical music in conjunction with our Opera Company - Relative Pitch Opera which is overseen by our Classical Programme Director  Helena Leonard.
We believe that there should be no obstacles be it geographical, financial or physical to the enjoyment of experiencing live theatre and music. So our mission statement is simply: "Theatre and Opera for all".
Why not become a friend of Little Pixie Productions to help support our work by joining our Friends Scheme. The company is not in receipt of any public subsidy so we rely on this kind of support to enable us to continue to maintain the excellent production standards for which we’ve become known.
We hope that you enjoy reading more about our exciting new company and our current shows. They include those that premiered at the 2009 Buxton Festival Fringe, where we won the "Best Family Event" Award 2009 for What Became of the Red Shoes? . Our sequel Turned Out Nice Again! won us our second consecutive award at the Buxton Festival Fringe, the 2010 "Best Show For Families" Award  and the third tale in our trilogy - Granny's Big Top Tale nominated for the Buxton Festival Fringe 2011 "Best Show For Families" Award.
